EES releases new single “MANUVA”

Multi-award-winning Namibian artist EES (Eric Sell) returns with a fresh, high-energy sound. For years, EES has been known as a musical bridge-builder between Africa and Europe – with his unmistakable style that fuses Kwaito, Amapiano, Afrobeat, and modern pop elements.

As a musician, producer, and entertainer, he has made a name for himself far beyond Namibia’s borders thanks to his captivating stage presence, humor, and cultural authenticity.

With his new single “Manuva”, EES delivers the perfect soundtrack for anyone seeking movement, joy, and positive energy. The title, inspired by the English word “Manoeuvre” (German: “Manöver”), symbolically represents a skillfully executed turn or tactical movement – a fitting metaphor for EES’s musical journey, in which he constantly blends new sounds, cultures, and rhythms.

“Manuva” uniquely combines the globally trending Amapiano sound with the classic Kwaito vibes EES grew up with. Supported by his live band, the song was produced with numerous live instrumental recordings, giving it a warm, authentic, and infectious groove.

EES describes the track as a musical movement – a statement that unites dance, energy, and African lightness:

“I wanted to create something that gets people moving again – exactly what’s been missing this summer! ‘Manuva’ is my musical manoeuvre between tradition and modernity, between Namibia and the world. And I can’t wait to perform this song live.”

With “Manuva”, EES once again proves that his music is more than just entertainment – it’s a cultural message that builds bridges and guarantees good vibes.
