EES nominated for “Best Album in Africa” at Kora Awards final voting from 20th January to 20th March 2016
This year, the KORA All-Africa Music Awards will be returning to Namibia for the 2016 edition of the event and to celebrate this even more we are very proud to announce that EES has been nominated in one of the biggest category of the awards. Namely the “Best Album of the Year in Africa” category which proves once again that EES he can compete with the international music scene with no doubt whatsoever.
The KORA-All Africa Music Awards has now become one of the most watched television event on the African continent after the FIFA World Cup and the Olympic Games.
Thanks to CFI (Canal France International, the French Government broadcaster) most African TV channels will carry the live KORA signal to an estimated CNN audience of over 700 million viewers around the world.
The EES Album nominated in this prestigious category is the “Authentic Rebel” 22 Track Albums which was released on the 7th November 2014 which features a wide variety of Namibian and also other well-known African artist. The Album was mixed, mastered and produced in Germany to make it an international quality product. The Album so far has received some major attention not just in Africa but overseas as well, being rated by the MusicGuide and Deutsche Schallplattenkritik with a very high rank.
